In addition to the main conference lecture programme, there will be a variety of exhibitions running over the weekend. These provide an excellent opportunity to discover more about different aspects of equine soundness and symmetry.
Exhibitions-Only Tickets
These tickets give you access to the exhibition areas between 9am and 5pm* perfect for those who want a snapshot of the event without attending the full lecture programme. However, for the most enriching experience, why not combine your exhibition visit with in-person or online access to the full conference and gain a deeper understanding of the topics being explored.
*We kindly ask that you come 9am-12pm and/or 2pm-5pm due to the conference delegates lunch break

Scientific Poster Presentations

​​​Discover the Science Behind Sound and

Symmetrical Horses.

Eighteen scientific posters exploring the theme “Symmetry and Soundness” will be on display. During breaks, authors will be available to discuss their research, and six will also deliver oral presentations of their posters during the conference.

This unique and inspiring scientific poster exhibition is designed to bring cutting edge, up to date information to  anyone who is passionate about learning and the science behind improving equine welfare and performance. With the theme "Soundness and Symmetry – Advancing Welfare and Optimising Performance," this poster exhibition brings research to life in an accessible and engaging way. Explore how evidence-based knowledge and the latest scientific insights into biomechanics, movement, and training methods can be practically applied to working with horses.

Anatomy Exhibition

Study a variety of skeletons, bones, anatomical specimens, models, resources and drawings on display in our comprehensive anatomy exhibition.
 
With Symmetry and Soundness as the theme, this anatomy exhibition will include a range of examples of bones, skeletons and anatomical models all relating to this subject. To help you get the most from the exhibition, each zone will be manned by a

different expert.

Interactive Zone - Dr Kirsty Lésniak

Come and get hands on to learn more about equine anatomy. Can you align an equine spine, arrange the bones of the hock joint or build a

horse skeleton?

Skeleton Zone - Dr Sue Dyson

With full equine skeletons from a range of breeds, types and ages all illustrating different movements, take the opportunity to study and understand the skeletal symmetry, development, anomalies

and pathologies.

Head Zone - Dr Chris Pearce

Study and compare the symmetry of different skulls, appreciate the anatomy of the head and question whether head and dentistry issues can affect soundness.

Hoof and Leg Zone - Mark Johnson

Be inspired by the intricacies and connections of the hoof and lower limb and appreciate how asymmetries here can influence movement

and soundness.

As well as being well known as an anatomist, biomechanist, the founder, lecturer, and author of all things Horses Inside Out, Gillian is also an anatomical artist, designer and creator of paintings, posters, studies, artwork and intricate and detailed anatomical models. 

 

 This unique exhibition invites you to discover another side of Gillans talents as she portrays the extraordinary beauty, strength, and complexity of the horse.

This special exhibition marks two decades of Horses Inside Out.

 

This exhibition is more than a look back; it’s a celebration of what makes Horses Inside Out truly unique – where education comes alive in colour, motion, and muscle.

 

 It all began back in 2005 when Gillian was in her last year at university in Cirencester. Follow the time line in the exhibition to see how Horses inside Out grew from just a handful of Gillian’s first clients to the international success it is today. Enjoy th photographs and watch the video to appreciate just how the story unfolds.
